Andrew Hogg was born in Kingston, England on March 2, 1985. At the age of 6 he came to Malta and joined the Sliema Wanderers Nursery. He started playing in the role of a defender, later he joined Luxol and changed his role into a goalkeeper.

At the age of 13, Andrew joined Pieta H. Nursery. He made his debut in the Premier League with the Hotspurs at the age of 16.
During his career with Pieta Hotspurs, he also had a short spell with Bari FC in Italy. Andrew Hogg joined Valletta FC in June 2007 and signed a five year contract.
