Charles Agius
Charles Agius 'Il-Kiskisell' born on December 1, 1951. He made his debut with Valletta on November 23, 1969 against Gzira United (2-0). Charles wore the Valletta shirt for 12 seasons, made his appearance in 127 matches and scored 33 gaols. He won three Championships (1973-74, 1977-78, 1979-80), three FA Trophies (1974-75, 1976-77, 1977-78), twice the Independence Cup (1974-75, 1979-80) and the Sons of Malta Cup in (1978-79). Charles Agius also took part in 12 European Competitions.
At an early age of 13, Charles started playing with Valletta Vanguards in 1965-66. In 1967-68 Charles formed part of the Valletta minors squad. In 1968-69 Charles Agius joined Zejtun Corinthians on a on-year loan. Later he returned with Valletta FC under the guidance of coach Tony Formosa. Agius the made his debut with Tony Giglio in November 1969 in the match against Gzira United (2-0).
In a career spanning over 12 years, Charles won several honours with Valletta FC. At the end of his football career Charles joined Zejtun Corinthians and Luxol St. Andrew's.
